About

President’s note to our customers

To all of our loyal customers,

I want to thank you all for your trust, your business, and your loyalty. I have known many of you since I was in my first building when I was by myself with only my determination and handful of basic tools and machinery. Whether I have known you from the beginning, or for a few months, you have all played and continue to play a vital role in helping ProTek Models to be what it is today. I believe that a company is only as good and as strong as its customers. I am dedicated to you all and I am committed to always providing you with the same outstanding quality models that you have come to expect no matter how large we get. I will always find or develop ways to make our products and services even better, more efficient, and for opportunities to cut cost without quality. You count on us to be the best and we count on you for the same. We will not let you down.  I look forward to continuing to grow with you all and to many more decades of doing business together.
From me and the entire ProTek Models team, thank you!

Sincerely,
Steve Smith

History

ProTek Models was founded by Mr. Steve Smith in October 2003. Mr. Smith had a vision of being the premier supplier of the world’s finest quality custom models and prototypes. Mr. Smith started the company out of his parent’s garage with little savings and a handful of only the most basic tools and machines. His will and determination to succeed sparked rapid growth within the first few months and the company moved to a 1,500 square foot building in Rancho Cucamonga. Three years later, due to the rapidly growing demand for our models, ProTek Models expanded to a 3,000 square foot building and acquired more machinery and equipment.

Today ProTek Models is in a nearly 9,000 square foot facility with nearly 2 million dollars in machinery and equipment. Mr. Smith’s vision of becoming the premier supplier of the world’s finest quality models has been realized and he and his crew work hard every day to maintain this reputation that he holds so dearly. Mr. Smith is just as active and involved in the business as ever. You can call him today and you will sense immediately how passionate he is about his company. To this day, Mr. Smith actively participates in the production of every model.
